Fungicide and Herbicide Spraying
We run the latest FMR V series 2 row and 3 row sprayers. All operators hold a current Growsafe certificate and we are RCA accredited. We operate Nupoint in all of our tractors which enables us to track every job and see all block hazards and sensitive areas. For your herbicide needs, we operate a range of sprayers including a shrouded sprayer. Spraying is one of the most important tasks undertaken in a vineyard and we take great pride in ensuring accuracy with this and keeping our equipment calibrated.
Vine Trimming
We run ERO vine trimmers to help keep your vineyard under control. Keeping vineyards nicely trimmed aids with air movement around the vineyard.
Ero Combi Leaf Removal
We run the latest Ero Combi Leaf Remover, which efficiently removes leaves around the fruit zone. This opens up the canopy to help with air circulation within the vine, which lowers humidity thus reducing the risk of fungal diseases. Leaf removing also assists with sunlight into the fruiting zone and helps with good spray penetration.
Barrel Pruning & Topping
We run a Clemens Barrel Pruner. We can barrel prune the tops of the vines before pruning or full barrel prune spur pruned varieties. Most labour contractors require vines to be topped before pruning.
Klima Vine Stripping
We run a Gen 2 Klima vine stripper for all suitably set up blocks for mechanical stripping. The Gen 2 is particularly good for vineyards that are undulating, and it can cope with shorter rows.
